Up for sale today is a US Remington M1903 serial no. 3361850 (1943 production) chambered in caliber .30-06. This gorgeous example of a very late-production M1903 has a barrel date of “RA 12-42,” a mint bore, and a muzzle wear reading of 0.5. Finish of wood and metal components are outstanding. The rear of the receiver shows the transitional beginnings of the machine processes that would eventually become the rear sight base for the then-upcoming production of the M1903-A3. A great example of a late Remington M1903 and a great addition to any shooter’s collection.
