Up for sale today is a US Winchester Model 1917 serial no. 540073 (December of 1918 production) chambered in caliber .30-06. This excellent original M1917 has a dark bore with strong rifling, a barrel date of “W 1-19” and a muzzle wear reading of 1.5. An excellent example of an M1917 and a great shooter as well.
