In 2004 Remington offered thier limited-production Model 700 Classic in 8mm Mauser. Produced for one year only in 8mm Mauser, these Remington Model 700 Classics have become very collectible. This particular rifle was bought new by the original owner in 2004 and put into storage until now. The rifle was never carried or fired, only wiped down with oil and put into the safe for the last 15 years. This 700 Classic is in flat mint condition and could not be improved in any way. The factory blue finish is like-new and bright, the jeweled bolt is perfect, the black finish on the triggerguard and floorplate is perfect, and the stock is pristine. It comes complete with the original serial numbered box and all of the paperwork/inserts that is shipped from the factory with. If you have been looking for a 8mm Mauser 700 Classic here is your chance to get one in perfect unfired condition. This rifle could never be upgraded in any way.
