Description:
This Merkel Model 280E is a 28 Ga. side by side shotgun. It has 28 inch barrels with a solid rib and 2 3/4 inch chambers. The chokes are fixed Cylinder and Modified. The stock is a checkered walnut pistol grip and a checkered walnut splinter forearm. It has an Anson & Deeley boxlock action with Greener crossbolt and double under barrel locking lugs. H&H ejectors. The silver receiver is very nicely engraved with birds in flight outdoor wildlife scenes and scroll. This fine shotgun is in very good condition.
