Features a 28" Lilja stainless steel heavy barrel with muzzle-brake; French walnut stock with ebony wood grip and forend caps, raised rollover cheekpiece, sling swivel studs and a Pachmayr recoil pad; includes a Swarovski 6-24x50mm with a 30mm tube, target turrets and a fine crosswire reticle. The scope is mounted in Leupold rings and attached to the integral receiver bases. Also comes with a set of RCBS form dies and RCBS reloading dies. The .338-378 KT was developed in the 1960s by Keith-Thomson (Elmer Keith and R.W. Bob Thomson) as a long range elk cartridge. The cartridge was based on the .378 Weatherby Magnum. Their .338-378 KT is about a 1/4" shorter than the .338-378 Weatherby Magnum, which became part of Weatherby's product line in 1998. See Bullet Points for additional information. SOLD Caliber Info: .338-378 KT Metal Condition: Some fading of the action and trigger-guard, the blue is turning plum color. There are some small rubbed/polished spots on the matte finish of the stainless barrel. Wood Condition: The gorgeous stock is in very good condition overall, but there is the occasional scratch.
