Description:
Parker VHE factory Skeet. This is a very late 12 gauge Parker SxS shotgun. The factory skeet configured Parkers were on offered only towards the end of the Parker production and this gun is one of those. 26” barrels fitted with a wide/tapering solid rib (1/2” to 5/16”) and brass front and mid beads; the mirror perfect bores are both stamped “SKEET IN” on the barrel flats. The #1 ½ frame has Parker single selective trigger that was standard with the Skeet model, automatic ejectors and non-automatic safety. Pistol grip stock with Parker grip cap has a 14 ¼” LOP over a 1” Pachmayr pad; 1 3/8” DAC, 2 5/16” DAH and neutral cast. The 10 ½” long beavertail forearm appears to have been added later but it fits perfectly and is finished and checkered to match the stock. Condition wise this gun retains a remarkable 50-60% original case colors and 97-98% original blue on the barrels and trigger guard. The gun weighs 7 lbs. 1 oz. and feels well balanced between the hands.
