Description:
Winchester Model 12, 12GA Pump Shotgun. Serial #458790. 32" barrel, full choke, capacity 4 + 1, uses 2 3/4" shells. Weight 8lbs. This gun was made between 1926 and 1927 and was known as the Sportsman Trap model. The wood on the stock and forearm is in good condition with no deep scratches or gouges. The butt plate has a small chip near the front edge(plate does not seem original).The barrel is in good condition both inside and out. The receiver has some small light rust spots on both sides and 7ea 1/8th to 3/16th inch shallow pitts on the right side. There is a small ding on the magazine tube, but it does not affect the working ability of the pump action.This is a slam fire gun, meaning you can hold down the trigger and work the slide and the gun will fire. It is reported that this type action can be fired more rapidly than a semi automtic shotgun. You can own this part of Winchester history for $990.00 shipped to you freight paid. This gun qualifies for our Lay Away. You pay 25% of the sales price, and divide the balance by four equal payments, which gives you 5 months to pay the gun out. The payments are due every 30 days after the down payment has been received. The firearm can be paid out at any time you desire and will be shipped within 3 business days to your FFL. There is a 15 day grace period for payments that are past due, there will be a $25.00 late fee plus 1.5% fee of balance owed added to the next month's payment but you will not loose the firearm. If payment is not made within the grace period you will loose the amount the amount that you have paid and all rights to any claim on the firearm. The firearm you place in lay away is the firearm you will receive and it will be identified by its serial number. Contact us for a copy of the agreement.
