Description:
This is a very nice Springfield Armory 1898 Krag rifle. It has a 30¿ blued barrel with a fair bore. Overall this rifle retains most of the blue on the barrel. However the receiver is heavily patinaed. It has the standard 1898 receiver markings. Fine smooth walnut stock scattered with bumps and dings, cartouches are fairly visible. Typical script initials/1900 cartouche on reverse wrist and circle-P proof behind trigger guard.
