Personal Check with hold Description: This is a nice Cased Set of Two Smith & Wesson Model No. 1 1/2 Second Issue Revolvers Including Rare Short Barrel (B). Smith & Wesson No. 1 1/2 Revolver. No. 1 1/2 Second Issue revolvers were manufactured in 1868-1875. These two represent the two standard finishes of blue and nickel and both a rare and standard barrel length. The standard markings are found on the rib of gun(A), and the left side of the barrel of gun (B). Each gun has matching assembly numbers, and the matching serial numbers are on the butts and right grips. Only a very small number were made with short barrels. The case also contains a rare Hall & Hubbard cartridge box with three cartridges from around 1870. The First one (A)Manufactures by Smith & Wesson Model 1 1/2 , BBL is 3 1/2 inch solid rib. .32 Long RF Caliber. Blued Finish, Beautiful Rosewood Grips. Serial Number #92533 Condition: Very fine overall with near 90% scare original blue finish, lightly browned finish in the flaked areas, strong original case colors on the rod and hammer, minor marks and scratches, and light edge wear on the grips. Mechanically excellent. The Second one, (B) is a Smith & Wesson No. 1 1/2 Revolver with the Rare and Desirable Short Barrel of 2 5/8 inch solid rib. .32 Long RF caliber. Beautiful Nickel Finish and Rosewood Grips. Serial #120326. Condition: Very fine with 95% plus original nickel plating, very faint light handling and storage wear, and strong original case colors around the hammer spur. The grips are very good and have mild edge wear, and minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is good with a period added blank initial plate, minor cracks in the lid, and moderate storage wear. The cartridge box is fine and has the expected age related wear. Overall a very nice set for collectors of antique Smith & Wesson revolvers. Buyer pays $20.00 shipping to lower 48 states.
