Klein’s Patent Needle Gun. Very rare gun made in the 1850s. Needle guns are very fascinating and important system. This system was the first bolt action cartridge gun when percussion guns were the norm and flintlocks were still used. American needle guns are very scarce with the bulk of them were made by George Foster on the Klein Patent. Gun works perfectly. Metal has brown patina with some light pitting. Bore has strong rifling.
