Description:
Gallager percussion civil war carbine in good Cond. All metal parts are aged with some scattered pitting and age stain. Bore is good with patches of pitting and strong rifling. Lock plate markings decent with searial No. 9005. On left side of frame is stamped 9 co L. This could well be the 9th Pa. cavalry as they were issued Gallager carbines and they had 13 companys, L being one of them. This carbine was issued and used and shows it.
