The M77PS was produced by Zastava and imported by Century Arms. It is the famous Zastava M76 designated marksman rifle rechambered to take the standard 7.62mm NATO round. The M76 itself was essentially the classic AK47 upscaled to take the old and then plentiful 8x57 rounds left over from World War II. However, when Zastava decided to import the rifle into the U.S., they knew the 8x57 was not as popular here as it was in Eastern Europe. And so, the M76 was altered to fire the slightly shorter 7.62mm NATO round and the M77 was born. Unfortunately, the M77PS was eventually banned from importation like so many other foreign long guns during the 1990s. The rifle here appears to be unused with little or no signs of wear on the external surfaces. The bore has the appearance of never having had a round through it. The muzzle device has some dried lubricant interfacing between it and the threaded section of the barrel. The M77 has been equipped with a scope mount and a 3-9x32mm EG sniper scope. The comes with no less than four CsSpec 20-round magazines, plus one 10-round magazine. Although no box is present the original manual is.
