This rarer second model leaders dagger 1938 ,Reichsluftschutzbund (State Air Protection Group) was a Nazianization founded in late 1932, and from 1933 given the role of AIR RAID protection and civil defence duties , working closely with the Red Cross and the Police and Fire department. This group had the power or same paramilitary rank ,similar to the SA ,STURMABTEILUNG. The dagger is in above good to excellent with one tiny nick in the blade, easy repair, there are a couple of tiny , tiny nicks in other area that do not effect anything in my opinion, some of the silver plate is missing on only the scabbard. The duel hangers are in great condition. The enamel is chipped in the swastica. 859-533-5445 Dan . The scabbard leather has been replaced.
