Since the development of the box magazine, the bullets could now be pointed since they weren't stacked behind each other. Considered one of the most powerful rimmed cartridges for lever actions, the .405 Winchester was used by Teddy Roosevelt in an 1895 on his East African safari. This 1895 is in excellent condition, with only a few marks on the left side of the receiver, and a couple on the stock.
