Description:
The model 1895 was the first Winchester rifle designed with a box magazine instead of a tubular one, and one of the last lever actions designed by John Browning. Since the development of the box magazine, the bullets could now be pointed since they weren't stacked behind each other. Considered one of the most powerful rimmed cartridges for lever actions, the .405 Winchester was used by Teddy Roosevelt in an 1895 on his East African safari. This 1895 is in excellent condition, with only a few marks on the left side of the receiver, and a couple on the stock. Winchester's 1895 was one of Teddy Roosevelt's favorite guns, and it could be yours, too!
