WW2 WWII BRINGBACK JAPANESE ARISAKA TYPE 38 KOISHIKAWA ARSENAL 6.5MM RIFLE WITH MUM/ MON & BAYONET. Crisp chrysanthemum struck above model number. Barrel with large "S" and triangle in circle. Same triangle in circle behind stripper clip slot as well as "O". Serial number in the pre-1936 range. Missing cleaning rod. Original two piece stock never been sanded with crisp inspector's mark behind triggerguard and Kanji on right side of buttstock. Excellent unturned screws. Frosty bore with good rifling will clean better with NO definitive pitting. Uncleaned metal surfaces with some light rust but no pitting. Period early type 30 Kokura Arsenal bayonet with original false edge, hooked quillon and screws holding wood grip panels. Nice undented scabbard.
