PRE WW2 MAUSER OBERNDORF BANNER K PRE K98K 8MM COMMERCIAL STANDARD CONTRACT RIFLE. Serial numbered "509XX" and all matching. In the same range as the early "D.R." Reichsbahn rifles. Don't think export(Chinese or Spanish contracts) as no export markings on it. Condition also denotes non export as many that did are in poor condition from being crated and issued. This one appears almost never used in battle with all of it's original blue and crisp markings remaining as well as it's mirror bright crisp bore and rifling. Besides it's Mauser-Werke A.G Oberndorf a/N receiver address it has correct BUGN proofs(also on matching bolt). Turned down bolt(without relief cut for knob) matches number on rest of gun. Stock with no sling cut or disc as has sling swivel. Upper sling swivel on barrel band. No other markings on wood but correct in form. Similar to Standard Modell.
