Sold Pending Funds - For sale is a STUNNING 1937 Colt Bankers Special in the Scarce .22 LR in this single gun shipment to Lou J Eppinger, the inventor of the “Dardevle” spoon fishing lure, with which more World Records have been caught than all others combined.
The factory original blued finish on this revolver is in remarkable condition with just a few freckles, and exhibiting excellent mechanical functioning. Wonderful 82-year old specimen of a RARE firearm with provenance which exhibits all of the details and finish that made Colt the premiere firearms manufacturer. Included in the sale is the Colt Factory Archive letter. This item qualifies as a C&R. Please view the photos here for the purpose of evaluating the condition for yourself.
