Description:
Antique rare 1886 Winchester with 1/2 rd 1/2 Octagon Pistol grip. 22xxx serial range 1888. 40-82
caliber. Which is a very flat shooting round. Smaller lead, 82 grains powder. This fine antique was professionally restored. Case colors are very close to factory colors. Best I’ve seen. Turnbull maybe. Whoever did it. I’m sure they are still in business. This is as close to factory original as I’ve ever seen a restoration. If this antique was original. It would go at for $25k plus. With a nominal 30% fee of course. I think as it is will still do close to $10. As always I like to leave meat on the bone. I like to buy that way and I feel most folks do as well.
