German captured Chassepot converted to a M71. Manufactured at the Tulle armory in 1867. Arsenal converted by the Germans. Barrel and receiver have both German and French inspectors markings. Metal is mostly a brown patina. Good-very good overall condition. A hard to find capture gun.
