Belgium Browning Double Auto Lightweight chambered in 12 Gauge manufactured in 1956. Produced from 1952-1956, the lightweight Double Auto featured a checkered pistol grip stock and forend, Hiduminum alloy receiver in velvet grey, dragon black, autumn brown, or forest green colors. This shotgun features the scarce autumn brown colored receiver, and a solid "channel" raised rib 28" modified choke barrel. The gun remains in excellent original condition with approximately 95% of the original finish remaining. The gun shows some high edge wear, and some light handling marks present but no rust or pitting. The stock and forend show only light handling marks, are free of cracks, and have sharp checkering. This is a nice old Browning that has been used but was well taken care of. The Browning Double Autos are known to be one of the finest handling non double shotguns ever produced. This would be an excellent choice for trap shooting, upland bird hunting, or as a nice collectible that you wouldn't feel bad about taking out in the field once in a while.
