Description:
Original owner, purchased new in 1958 thru Navy Exchange. As a young LtJg I had no concept of future value in a sale, so I sanded down the left side of the stock so that my eye could quickly line up with the open sights. I later installed the 4X Bushnell Scopechief. I'm not a hunter or recreational shooter so I have fired the model 70 about 10 times total in the 61 years of possession., I preferred the 20mm cannon in the FJ-4B. A few years ago I decided to put on a new stock and purchased the beautiful walnut stock shown in the photos, but just never got around to doing so. The stock comes with the sale.
