Scarce Walther PPK Dural frame manufactured in 1939 and Crown N proofed. Beginning in 1935, Walther was one of the first gun companies to utilize aluminum alloy in their pistols to reduce weight. This commercial (K suffix serial numbered) PPK shows the Pre War high polish and the early green cast anodizing on the Dural frame. The pistol is in excellent condition and retains approximately 90-95% of its original finish. The Bakelite grips are in excellent condition and free of any cracks or repairs that are so common to these early Walthers. The mechanics are perfect and the bore is like new. An original finger extension magazine is included. Early Dural framed PPK's are uncommon, and to find one in any kind of condition is even less common. An excellent example of its type.
