Description:
This is a Stephen Grant & Son's best quality hammerless sidelock gamegun with 30" damascus barrels, attractive fluted fences, 95% scroll engraving and is the number 2 gun of a broken pair.  It spent part of its life traveling from England to Virginia and back on hunting trips. On the owner's final trip, this shotgun was left here and the companion gun rerturned to England with its owner. This half of the pair was a "Thank you" for many wonderful days of hunting in the Virginia country side. The action functions properly, closes tightly with no movement and the top lever rests dead center when closed.  The shotgun features double triggers and selective ejectors.  Overall this double deserves a loving hand to spend some quality time with it and needs to be serviced by a properly qualified gunsmith.  It should then provide many years of pleasure to its new owner.
