Description:
This is an excellent overall condition Winchester Pre 64 Model 70 Standard Rifle in cal .30-06 from 1958, and fitted with a period Lyman All American 4x riflescope and mounts. I would call the original bluing at 98% and ditto for the original stock finish - just a wonderful older Model 70 that was the iconic big game rifle back in the post war era and up until 1964. Rifle has an excellent bore and perfect chamber. This is the wonderful original controlled round feed model 70 action like a Mauser - and not the push feed type they went to in 1965 that everyone despised.
