Description:
This fine rifle has been sold. Thank you Guns International.

I am reducing the size of my Anschutz/Krico/Walther collection and am offering several fine examples of German Quality. These guns were purchased by me while stationed in Germany. Many of these models were not offered for sale in the US. Most are different configurations of the models that were offered.

This very rare Anschutz hunting rifle has a 22 in Barrel and the action is very smooth and quiet. This rifle from 1966 retains 98% original blue finish. Fold down site. The beautiful stock with German cheek piece is free of dents or scratches and has an oil finish, which is very easy to care for. LOP is 14 7/8 in. and the double set triggers are very nice. Weight is 9.2 lbs. including the Zeiss Diatal Z 8 X 56 Scope with German no. 1 Reticle and Suhler Claw Mounts. This scope can be removed and replaced without changing your zero. The scope and mounts cost over $1800 when new.

These huting rifles were made in a joint venture with Savage. There were not many made and very few came to the US. They are highly collectable and very seldom in this market. The 7 X 64 Ammo is readily available at most dealers. It is the most popular caliber for deer and pigs in Germany. It is known as the European 06 to compare it's popularity with the famous ,30-06. I have a large number of brass and a set of dies for anyone interested in loading your own.

The Zeiss scope is clear and provides a lot of light for early and late hunting. This is a very popular glass in Germany as it is used for night pig hunting.

This is a very accurate rifle which will make some one very happy. These rifles are no longer made because it is no longer possible to maintain this quality and keep them cost effective.

Fixed shipping cost of $50.00 to the lower 48 States Item will ship via Priority Insured Mail to your FFL when funds clear.
