For Sale is this 1937 ULTRA RARE Colt New Service Shooting Master in .44 Special with Factory letter confirming this configuration in a special 1 gun shipment to the City of Fullerton, California. ONE OF ONLY 94 EVER MADE!! When was the last time you saw one for sale? This target gun exhibits all of the details, fit and finish that made the Colt Pre-War double action renowned for their build and accuracy. The original factory finish has evidence of careful usage and collector type markings associated with a well-cared for 82 year old firearm with the exception of pitting on the right side resulting from a period of improper storage during this time. The action is crisp, the lock up is tight, the bolt drops at the start of the grooves on all 6, endshake is absent, and the bore is sharp. Factory letter included with sale. Payment must be by bank certified (cashiers) check or Postal Money Order. Shipping & insurance by FedEx is $45 to eligible lower 47 states. Shipping to AK or HI will have additional costs for which buyer is responsible. I will need a copy of an FFL dealer license or C&R with copy of Driver’s License to ship the gun. There is a 3 day, no-shoot, no disassembly inspection period and the buyer is responsible for cost of shipping both ways if returned.
