Description:
Overall condition on this example is good to very good. The metal finish does have some scratches from handling and use but is corrosion free. There is a strong rotation line on the cylinder; but this should be expected from a revolver of its age that was actually used. Judging from the condition of the markings such as the Colt "Prancing Pony" the finish is original. The grips are in good shape overall; but they do show signs of age. Lock-up on the cylinder is still very solid; both with the hammer down and when it is cocked. The bore is in excellent shape with a good shine and plenty of rifling left.Sadly this example does not have the box it was shipped with.
