Springfield M1 Garand D-Day .30-06 As New WCrate, 24" bbl, adjustable rear peep sight, blade in military wings front sight, Parkerized finish, "996 OF 1944" engraved in gold on the right side rear of the receiver, "D-DAY NORMANDY, JUNE 6, 1944" engraved in gold on the operating rod, the opening of General Dwight D. Eisenhower's speech given prior to the invasion on June 6, 1944 engraved on the left side of the stock, with the helmet, rifle and boot soldiers memorial behind, three soldiers landing on Normandy Beach are engraved on the right side of the stock, and a Springfield Armory brown leather sling is attached.
The top of the wooden collector crate has "D-DAY - NORMANDY - JUNE 6,1944" with the Springfield Armory Crossed Cannon emblem on each side, the front of the crate has "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY - U.S. RIFLE CAL. .30, M1" on it, and there are rope handles on the sides.
Includes a bayonet, cleaning kit, manual, an after market muzzle brake, and 14 - 8 round clips.
