Remington-Rand WWII Era 1911A1 .45ACP semi automatic 1911 pistol. This pistol was once a USGI service pistol, however it has been upgraded in several areas to make it into a tack-driver target pistol. The recoil spring has been upgraded to a lighter spring, to accomodate the lower powered .45ACP Wadcutter target shooting loads. The trigger has had a professional job performed, and is incredibly crisp and light with little to no take-up or creep. The sights have been upgraded to BoMar target sights, in addition to a Dinan barrel bushing. The pistol is in excellent working order with a glass-smooth action and excellent bore, with some signs of regular use and what appears to be the original finish. Includes one magazine.
