The “Imperial” is AYA’s first new model since the launch of the Nº 1 “de Luxe”: another step in AYA’s quest for a perfect sidelock. Only the finest and most experienced craftsmen work on the ‘Imperial’ to ensure the very highest level of quality. The base for the “Imperial” is the Nº 1 sidelock action, but AYA have taken it to another level of refinement to bring it closer still to gunmaking perfection; SELF-OPENING ACTION is standard, exquisite hand engraving, bone charcoal case hardening and exhibition quality walnut all feature on this elegant shotgun. But the “Imperial” is not just a beautifully finished shotgun; extra time is put into every working aspect of this gun to make sure the trigger pulls are that bit crisper, the closing is even smoother, the handling feels a touch more lively. This masterpiece has not been made to a price, but to a level of finish which is unmatched in Spanish gunmaking. Locking screws fitted internally, DTs, hinged front trigger, chopper lump chrome nickel steel 28 in. barrels, choked IC/Mod, hand detachable sidelocks, LOP 14 7/8”. Stock configuration approximately DAC 1 5/8', DAH 2 6/8", Cast off 3/16". Weight 6lbs 6oz. Made in 2008. Gold stock initial oval with previous owner's initials, "JTG". Please note that one corner of the included high quality maker's leather case was chewed on by a hunting dog but was repaired. Due to this, please do not place much value on the case. The interior of the case is in minty condition. The exterior has the usual scuffs associated with careful use. See detailed pictures. Must ship to your FFL dealer. Seller pays shipping and insurance.
