Description:
This is a Browning Gold Sporting Clays model with 30 inch ported barrels It has an adjustable leather covered comb and a Kick EZZ recoil pad. 15 inch LOP. Also a set of 6 Briley Spectrum choke tubes. This was Bob Bristers' personal gun. Bob was the shooting editor for Field & Stream magazine and the Author of Shotgunning the Art and Science along with several other books. He was instrumental in bringing Sporting Clays to the USA. He was a good friend. When I took up Sporting Clays 18 years ago he sold this gun to me. Bob was also a close friend of Jess Briley. Bob told me that the barrel on this gun has every modification that Briley mfg can do to a barrel. I switched to an over & under several years ago. The gun was sent to Larry Brewer (Browning expert gunsmith) in Macon GA recently and is in perfect working order.
