The Colt Python is considered by many to be the best revolver every made. It has a fully shrouded ejector rod and checkered walnut grips contoured for support for middle finger of shooting hand. It has a vent-rib barrel and wide-spur hammer. According to the serial number this Python was manufactured in 1973. Today's Blue Book of Gun Values states: "As one of the few hand fitted revolvers ever produced, Python values have risen dramatically in recent years, especially early revolvers and any that remain in NiB or near NiB condition.” Comes with original box and paperwork which makes this particular package extremely rare and highly desirable.
