Winchester Model 70 Standard Grade .30-06 bolt action rifle, dated to 1955. This rifle features a beautiful cut of walnut as its stock, with fine cut checkering in the grip areas. The metal parts have a fine blued finish, and the rifle utilizes the Mauser-style action, the Model 70 has an excellent reputation of accuracy and reliability, in addition to superior ruggedness in tough environments. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, and the iron sights are adjustable with a hooded front sight. The rifle is in excellent overall condition with some signs of normal use with small bumps and dings, in addition to small areas of finish loss, as shown. The action is glass smooth, the bore is superb, and the trigger is light and crisp. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the rifle.
