Description:
WW2 1944 MAUSER K98K FACTORY COMMERCIAL SAUER 8MM RIFLE. Serial number "27X" and all matching except bolt numbered within 100 digits of gun. Receiver with no markings on top ring but "Mod. 98" on left wall and Eagle/N and Eagle over 359 (Sauer code) on right. Barrel with "cxm36/41 bys" and dbl "eagle over 28". On right side of barrel under sight "42" next to Eagle/WaA63 and TWO "eagle over WaA655". Blue on barrel and receiver original factory finish at 90%. Sight hood. Cupped buttplate. Factory laminate stock with only marking being matching serial number on underside forward of buttplate. Pretty well unused with same mirror bright bore with crisp rifling. NO import marks. Prime example of commercial wartime production rifle in pristine condition as far as these go.
