David Miller Custom Classic Rifle - 7mm Remington Magnum, German DWM Argentine Contract 1909 Mauser Action with Mod 70 type safety, 24 ¼” barrel, includes a 30mm Swavroski Z6 2.5-15x44P BR reticle scope. Stock is beautifully figured California French Walnut with Ebony tip, cross bolts, Biesen checkered metal pistol grip cap and trapdoor buttplate that holds 3 extra cartridges, Blackburn bottom metal, custom bolt handle w/five panel checkering, LOP 13.25”, excellent bore with strong rifling. The barrel is marked “7mm REM. MAG. DAVID MILLER CO.”. Overall, the metal and wood on this rifle are in Excellent condition with only minor handling marks visible on very close inspection and slight scratch on left side rear scope mount - see picture. Scope glass is in Excellent condition with a few light scratches on tube. The BR reticle is a full duplex with five short stadia lines below the horizontal with 5 aiming dots between the lines and can be used with Swavroski's ballistic program (ballisticprograms.swarovskioptik) to develop range tables for the various stadia lines based your specific bullet parameters. These tables can be printed and taped to the top of the scope for quick reference. In addition to windage and elevation knobs, there is a side focus knob to adjust for parallax at various ranges. The original David Miller solid scope mounts (made specifically for only one rifle/scope combination) have been replaced with what appear to be custom Bollinger/Mountain Riflery mounts to allow for the use of a variety of 30mm scopes. David Miller and Curt Crum of David Miller Co. are unique in the world of custom rifle manufacturing. These are rifles made by hunters for hunters. David Miller Co. rifles are well appointed without being ostentatious, finely tuned and precise with clean and classic lines.
