Description:
This is a very nice Springfield Armory 1898 Krag rifle. It has a 30" blued barrel with a good bore. Overall this rifle retains most of the blue on the barrel and receiver. It has the standard 1896 receiver markings. Fine smooth walnut stock with not many bumps and dings, cartouches are somewhat visible. Typical script initials cartouche on reverse wrist and circle-P proof behind trigger guard. Comes with a brass muzzle protector.
