Browning Superposed Lightning 20 gauge. 26 ½” barrels, 2 ¾” & 3” chambers with vent rib and factory choked IC/Mod. Made in 1970 this is an extremely clean Superposed with all original factory finishes remaining in excellent + condition. For you astute Browning collectors you immediately worry about “Salt” in 1970 and, yes this gun has some very minor salt damage. Please look at the photos for details. I have had to “blow-up” the photos because the salt damage is so minor and very difficult to see with the naked eye. This gun is 49 years old and whatever salt damage that was going to affect this sweet little 20 has happened! Back to the gun..this is the perfect upland game gun and a truly delightful example of a 20 gauge Superposed. Typical 14 1/8” LOP over the factory butt plate, 1 ½” DAC and 2 ¼” DAH. Weighs 5 lbs. 15 oz.
