Description:
This Original .44 Colt 1858 Remington Conversion has an 8” blued octagon barrel mounted with a fixed front sight. Stamped on the top flat of the barrel is the E. Remington name and patent information which is partially obliterated due to age and usage wear. The bore is good with deep rifling and light scattered pitting. The Walnut grips are attached to the blued frame and brass trigger guard. Please note: This revolver has age usage dents and dings and the bluing is well worn. There are initials carved into the bottom of the left grip and there are pieces of wood missing on both grips. This appears to be an early conversion. The overall length is 14-1/4”, weight is 2 lbs, 12oz. Our stock number is A704. Will ship to any FFL anywhere in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
