Description:
Nice old parker double 12 gauge with 80% original blue and case color. Serial # 190696 circa 1920. An attractive and tight Parker, mechanically excellent. The barrel blue seems to be original and the case color has darkened but bright under the release lever. The wood is good with some dents but strong checkering. Important issues: The butt plate is broken and a chip off the stock at the butt. See pictures. Inside the right barrel, about half way out is a dimple that protrudes externally, about the size off a pencil erasure. In my opinion it is a factory (Trojan) defect and not SAFE to use. (see a qualified gunsmith on these issues) The left barrel is fine, both barrels are shiny, no pitting. These unfortunate issues on this fine gun are reflected in the price. Please ask questions.
