Description:
Beretta 409 PB side-by-side shotgun in 12 gauge. 28.5" (72cm) barrels choked Full and Full, 2 3/4" chambers. Double trigger. This is a gun Beretta built for the European, likely German market in 1948 (stamped on barrel flat). The stock is original with a Beretta buttplate and very Germanic, Bavarian looking buttstock with a shapely comb and Monte Carlo type cheekpiece. 13 7/8 LOP from front trigger. Sling swivels on barrel and butt.
This interesting piece shows little wear, with only light handling/safe marks to the stock and barrels. Bores are shiny and the action locks up crisp and tight. The receiver retains about 50% original case coloring.
