Browning BAR MKII Safari semi-auto rifle in .30-06 Springfield. 22" non-BOSS barrel. Originally equipped with open sights, although rear has been removed. Comes mounted with a Leupold VX-IIc 4-12 power scope with parallax adjustment. Made in Belgium, assembled in Portugal.
This rifle is in excellent shape with only a few scratches and nicks. This looks to have been handled more than carried in the field and the bore is in excellent+ shape. Metal shows a few light scratches and the wood has only very light marks if anything, plus a couple of dinged checkering-points. Please see pics for details. Absolutely an excellent classic hunting rifle.
