Description:
Weatherby rifles are world renown in big game hunting fields for quality and accuracy. The Vanguard Bolt-Action Rifle is well suited for long range shooting. At the heart of the Vanguard’s accuracy is a 24", cold hammer forged barrel, and a 2-stage trigger that adjusts down to a pull weight of 2.5 pounds. The Vanguard features a rugged composite stock with non-slip Griptonite® inserts on the pistol grip and fore end, making it a great hunting rifle for extreme weather conditions. A bead-blasted matte blue finish on the metal parts reduces the visibility of the firearm while deer hunting, increasing your odds of success. The Vanguard has a fluted bolt with a cocking indicator, a three-position safety that gives the user the option of loading and unloading the rifle while it is on safe, and the ability to lock the bolt closed on safe while carrying the rifle over rough terrain. A hinged floorplate allows for quick and safe unloading of the magazine.
