Early all-original Steyr Mannlicher Model M Carbine chambered in .270 WCF. This full-stocked Steyr Model M Carbine was manufactured in 1974 in Austria and remains in beautiful all-original condition. This rifle features a 20" hammer-forged barrel, adjustable double-set triggers, a 5-shot rotary detachable box magazine, factory iron sights, quick detach swivels and a factory-installed recoil pad. It is fitted with a period steel tube Weaver 4X scope and Conetrol bases and rings. This rifle remains in excellent original condition and rates 98%. We purchased this rifle from the son of the original owner who claimed it has had less than a box of shells fired through it since new. These classy little rifles are scarce and we rarely get them in stock in any condition, much less as beautiful as this one. If you have been looking for a unique hunting rifle that you can be proud of, with classic lines, excellent accuracy, and top-of-the-line fit and finish, this Steyr Model M Carbine would be a perfect choice.
