Very cool CS marked Short Sword with verbal and written provenance of being brought back as a War trophy by Ohio Volunteer soldier. Paperwork is included to the new buyer. Modeled after the Roman Gladius short sword. Theses words are getting hard to get. Lots of fakes and this NOT one. I bought this from Brian Akins at Rebel Relics and I am selling it at my cost. Tiny bit of wobble in the blade but structurally sound. Great untouched patina and aged brass. Crude Rebel sand casted brass. Photos are high definition. Moving sale.
