An excellent condition original magazine for the Remington-Lee Magazine Rifle, or what is commonly referred to today as the Model 1885 Remington rifle.
Most of the original finish remains, with moderate wear, mostly at the top where the magazine engages the rifle. It's smooth, no rust or pitting or dents. The one is the nicest of the four of these magazines we have in stock. The follower moves smoothly and it looks to be a nice functional magazine.
One of two unmarked examples we are offering for sale on GI. We have one with the patent date markings for sale also.
