Description:
Three very good condition boxes of Federal Hi-Power 16 gauge in the one-piece mallard box.
Two boxes of HP163 1-1/8 ounces No. 6 shot. These were wrapped in plastic and are in pretty good condition. One has some minor fraying and some rubbing to the surface. The other is cleaner but has a couple rim protrusions on two of the seams. Both boxes are still presentable. The red paper shells are good in both boxes. They're bright and clean as-new in one box and a little dirtier in the other, as shown in the photo.
The third box contains 19 shells HP163 1-1/8 ounces No. 4 chilled shot. They're the orange-brown colored paper and I think somewhat earlier vintage than the red shells, perhaps mid-1940s. The shells are in good condition except for three that have some black corrosion on parts of the bases. The box is pretty clean and presentable. There's a little wear to one of the front edges but pretty solid otherwise.
