Description:
The Swiss at some point realized that its support troops, cavalry, and certain other units required a shorter rifle than what was currently available and so designed the Model 1911 carbine. The Swiss 1911 carbine being smaller, lighter and still lethally accurate, became a favorite of the Swiss Army.

Chambers: Bolt action, unique straight pull back and push forward, detachable six round magazine.
Metal Condition: Good, bluing is faded in places.
Wood Condition: Good, minor dings and dents overall.

Barrels: 23 inch rifled barrel.
Triggers: Two stage trigger, safety is incorporated into the rear of the bolt. Pull the ring and turn 90 degrees to engage the safety.
Stock: Wooden semi pistol grip, full length stock is smooth.
Stock Dimensions:
12 1/2 in ch length of pull.
Fore End: Smooth wooden fore-end is an extension of the stock and has a top cover from the chamber to within thee inches of the muzzle.
Butt Pad: Steel butt plat.
Weight: 8 1/8 pounds.
Sights: Blade front sight with protective wings, rear ladder sight with elevation adjustments to 1500 meters.
