Late model 1849 Colt Pocket mfd in 1869. Don’t turn your nose up about the birth date. This revolver is 150 years old and is an excellent example of Samuel Colt’s Engineering artistry.
This piece was made 4 years before percussions died and was probably part of the western expansion.
The case colors are brilliant, the blue and scene on cylinder about 90%. Barrel retains 80% blue beginning to flake. Silver is gone and replaced with a pleasing mustard patina on brass trigger and back strap. Revolver is mechanically sound with near perfect grips.
