#324NN03034, Browning Belgium 20 Bore Superposed B-25 Custom Shop Model Special Chasse in Traditional Grade with a Case Color Hardened Frame and Factory Certificate of Identification. This piece was finished May 24, 2000 and delivered with the burgundy Custom Shop trunk case. It has the round knob long tang pistol grip stock. 28" vent rib barrels at .619 .005 & .009" (Imp.Cyl. & Open Mod.) Original 3" chambers, Factory marked I.C. & I.M. but I can assure you the top choke was never opened, Single selective trigger, Game forend, Pistol grip stock with the long trigger guard tang and a round knob at 14 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 2 3/8" over a hard buttplate with the "FN" logo, Very slight cast-off for the right hand, 6 lbs. 13 oz., Very nice wood with nice black/brown contrast, The frame, forend metal, trigger guard, toplever and safety are all case color hardened with deep blue and brown colors, 30% coverage of scroll engraving by A. Hermia and signed accordingly, The original barrel blue is 99%, All the case colors remain at 99%, The original oil finish is at 99%, The checkering is at 100%, The bores are new, It remains as tight as new and has the overall appearance of never being fired, It is cased in the factory trunk case with a Custom Shop trade label and all the paperwork. There were 2 short stress cracks at the bottom of the forend at the front that our Gunmaker Perodeau professionally repaired, they are not going anywhere. The Belgium Browning B-25 for the most part enjoyed the European market and not many ever made their way to the U.S. Most were sold in England, Germany and France. Most of the B-25's were built on a special-order basis.
