Early U.S. Infantry Officers Sword. Cira 1810s-1830s. Blade is approximately 32” and has some of its original fire blue finish and gold inlays. Blade has a federal eagle, foliate motifs and a panoply of arms. Five bead Knuckle guard. Grip is ivory, no cracks. An early U.S. sword.
